  The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in 1957 and is held twice a year in the spring and autumn seasons in Guangzhou. It has successfully organized 132 sessions to date, making it the longest-running, largest in scale, most diverse in product categories, with the highest number of attending buyers, widest distribution of participating countries and regions, best transaction results, and most reputable comprehensive international trade fair in China. In recent years, each session of the Canton Fair has seen a total of 26,000 domestic and foreign exhibiting companies covering 16 major product categories, attracting high-quality suppliers from various industries, and drawing nearly 200,000 professional buyers from over 200 countries to participate in purchasing activities. In 2021, the 130th session of the Canton Fair expanded the invitation to domestic buyers to participate comprehensively for the first time, resulting in a cumulative attendance of over 600,000 buyers. As for the online exhibition, the official website of the 132nd session of the Canton Fair received over 38 million visits in 2022, with more than 510,000 overseas buyers registering their corporate information, covering 229 countries and regions globally.
